1. Instagram requires your account to be a Business Account in order to connect the account to a third party program like Lately.
2. Your Instagram account must be to be connected to your Facebook Page account.
1. Go to your Instagram profile and click the Menu icon in the upper right corner.
2. Click the Gear Icon for Settings and Privacy.
3. Select Account type and tools, and switch to professional account.
4. Pick a category that best describes your business, then select Business.
5. Connect your Instagram Business Account to your Facebook Page by following these instructions: Connect an Instagram Account to a Facebook Page.
• Click Connect Instagram from the options.
• If you're not logged in to Instagram, do so now. If you're already logged in...
• Click the button labeled Continue as _____.
1. Instagram/Meta requires that you Select All accounts during this step.
2. Once all are selected, click Next.
* Important: You'll be able to choose exactly which connected Instagram channels you'd like to utilize and publish to once you're back in Lately.

1. Ensure that all of the following options are toggled YES as seen below.
2. Lately may not work properly if you turn off any of these options.
3. Click Done.
1. Check the box/boxes of the accounts you want to Lately to be able to publish to.
2. Once done, click Add Selected Accounts.
3. If this is the first time connecting Instagram to Lately, you'll see a blue Connected box when completed.
Thats it! Lately is now connected to your Instagram Business Accounts. Don't forget you can always connect to more later on as well by following these steps:
1. Click My Account from the top right of the screen.
2. Select Publisher from the dropdown menu.
3. Click Connect and choose from the available channel types.
4. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 to reconnect any expired channels.
