Brian has spent the last couple of decades helping entrepreneurs realize their dreams and reach their full potential. He’s basically the fairy godfather of entrepreneurs, but replace bippity boppity boo with advice that stems from years and years of experience.
In his sit down with Kately, Brian shares his views on the do’s and don’ts everyone should know, and then sprinkles in some knowlege on ways to set yourself on a path to success.
So… maybe he is a little magical.
We can all agree that our world has become a very digital world, and while that might seem scary to some, it is a reality that we all need to face.
The “Big Bang” of both the social media world and the digital world has left many people feeling overwhelmed and uncomfortable. And while this new frontier is intimidating, there are many people who can help you out.
(Or maybe… if you’re not comfortable with writing… use a platform that could help you auto generate dozens of social posts using AI… catch my drift? *wink wink*)
Brian suggests those who aren’t so comfortable with embracing the digital trends we see now, definitely outsource to those who can help you get in the game with all the other people who are doing the same. And don’t feel discouraged! As Brian said, “Nobody has perfected it to the point where they’ve locked everybody out”.
Well, not exactly. But kind of! (stay with me on this one.)
Brian describes a masterful way of planning out your year for your business, by looking at it like a GPS. It is as follows, “You want to come to my house? We were talking about it before. You don’t, you know, you’ve been in the area, but you don’t really know. So you’ve plugged my address into your phone and your phone will tell you exactly how long it’ll take and how far it is. And you know, if you need to stop along the way where to get gas, where to get coffee”.
Starting to see the metaphor?
Looking at your business through this idea of having a GPS is SO beneficial. You have to edit it, make changes based on things that happen in your life. There’s a traffic jam? Let’s take a side street. Anything that helps you achieve your goal by the end of the year.
Two words we hear often in our day to day, but we rarely stop to think about the power they hold.
Brian describes it as a “lost art”, and it is! At the end of the day, we all live in a massively competitive world, for small and medium sized businesses, saying a sincere thank you might be the one thing that puts you ahead of the competition.
Let your customers know just how much they are appreciated, and you can do that and therefore strengthen your relationship with just those two simple words.
Now, these are just a few of the topics Brian touches on, and only a taste of the brilliance he shares on his episode of Lately Live. You can get more of his greatness by listening to the episode: https://bit.ly/2SQNBRa
