The news puts Lately, founded by Kate Bradley Chernis, firmly at the forefront of female-founded tech startups, which attracted only 2% of venture capital dollars in 2017, according to Fortune Magazine.

Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of New York invested again, as did the majority of Lately’s major investors, notably Robert McCausland (chairman of the board) and Peter Schweinfurth (board member and member of Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of New York), Jamie Propp, Isaac Oates (CEO of Justworks), Alan Chung and Marc and Lynn Wunderman, first family of the Wunderman Agency – one of the largest marketing agencies in the world. About Lately

Lately automatically turns longform content into dozens of pre-hashtagged and pre-shortlinked social media posts so marketers can instantly repurpose blogs, press releases, newsletters, white papers and video and audio transcripts. Lately then automatically organizes this content into a marketing dashboard alongside multi-channel social media scheduling and bulk publishing, task management, marketing calendaring, RSS feed management, analytics, reporting and more - from a single login.
